Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick items from various locations within the warehouse using electronic pick lists and scanners.
- Confirm product information, lot numbers, and quantities for accuracy.
- Package picked items safely and correctly for transport.
- Transport picked orders to designated packing or shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as required (certification may be provided).
- Strictly follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or inventory discrepancies to supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting, particularly as an order picker, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Sharp attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and wearing of PPE.
- Dependable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Effective communication skills.
