*Position Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in supporting the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
* Oversee daily kitchen operations in the Executive Chef's absence
* Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards
* Assist in inventory management and cost control
* Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new menu items and specials
* Assist in the ordering and receiving of food and kitchen supplies
* Participate in menu costing and pricing strategies
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
*Qualifications*
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in upscale restaurants, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of coastal and seafood cuisine
* Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
* Leadership and team management abilities
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Creativity and passion for culinary innovation

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
