We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our distribution center's daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing these items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the seamless flow of goods. Excellent organizational skills are essential for managing inventory and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products using an RF scanner and order sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Verify product quantities and quality before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Demonstrate safe lifting techniques for various product sizes and weights.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
