Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Support the logistics team with various operational tasks.
- Demonstrate strong Lifting capabilities when required for stocking and retrieving items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a warehouse technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair procedures.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
