Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking motivated individuals to play a crucial role in our order fulfillment process. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse inventory, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role. You will work with various systems and equipment to ensure orders are processed correctly and meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a dedication to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided. Strict adherence to Safety protocols and the use of required PPE is mandatory. This position involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and the ability to perform Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing logistics operation and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick merchandise from inventory locations based on order tickets or scanning devices.
  • Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
  • Follow all Safety guidelines and wear the designated PPE .
  • Operate basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or processes to supervisors.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
