We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our busy logistics facility in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be essential to the smooth flow of goods, responsible for receiving, moving, staging, and storing materials and products within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on safe and efficient handling of inventory using various equipment. This position requires physical capability, precision in your work, and a strong dedication to maintaining a secure work environment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel and contribute to efficient inventory management. Safety is paramount, and all employees are required to follow strict protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and injuries. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against orders.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stack, store, and organize inventory in designated locations.
- Prepare materials for shipping and assist with loading trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification on various forklifts and material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including heavy lifting (50+ lbs).
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, if necessary.
