Join our vibrant team as a Picker/Packer in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and efficiently packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and general warehouse area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or hand trucks for moving inventory.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Perform lifting of items during the picking and packing process, following safe lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of logistics processes is a plus.
