Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include picking products from warehouse shelves, verifying order accuracy, and preparing items for shipment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety procedures. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse setting and be comfortable with physical tasks. We value efficiency and teamwork, and offer opportunities for growth within our organization. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
  • Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
  • Package products securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, if trained and certified.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to PPE and Safety.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  • Commitment to following all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
