Join our vibrant warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota! This role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods from arrival to departure. You will be involved in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all logistics protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, minimizing damage.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of cargo.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those concerning safety and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
