Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Portland, Oregon. We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and manage the movement of materials within our bustling warehouse. This role is vital to our Logistics operations, ensuring that goods are transported efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving inventory, as well as performing daily equipment checks. A commitment to Safety and efficiency is paramount.
Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack pallets of goods.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring product integrity and timely delivery.
Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any defects or maintenance needs.
Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company policies, including wearing required PPE.
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient Logistics.
Demonstrate awareness and practice of safe Lifting techniques.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a certified forklift operator is required. Familiarity with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach). Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices. Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of Logistics principles is a plus.
