Come work with us as an Order Picker in Portland, Oregon! We are looking for energetic individuals to join our warehouse team and contribute to our efficient logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse, identifying items using pick lists or scanners, and ensuring the correct quantity and product are gathered. A commitment to Safety, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently are paramount. You will play a vital role in customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This role requires physical stamina, including consistent walking, standing, and occasional Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to track inventory movement.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately for transit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals and support overall logistics.
- Follow all instructions and procedures to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition; ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
