We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Jose, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your leadership will ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to strict Safety standards. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively and motivate them to achieve targets. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory integrity, optimizing workflow, and ensuring the safe handling of all materials, which may involve significant Lifting . A thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and Logistics best practices is crucial. Your commitment to fostering a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all regulations, including the correct use of PPE , will be paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and mentor warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections and ensure proper use of PPE .
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage relationships with carriers and vendors.
- Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order.
- Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the proper handling and storage of all goods.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly.
