We are seeking a diligent and physically fit Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse. This includes receiving, processing, and distributing materials. You will be a key player in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and effectively. Your primary focus will be on the safe and accurate handling of all products and equipment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff. Responsibilities:
- Unload and load materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Identify, sort, and organize materials for storage or shipment.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with packing and preparing orders for shipment.
- Operate machinery as needed, following all operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding material status and any issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic reading and counting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
