Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, performing regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to improve inventory accuracy. You will work with warehouse management systems to track stock levels, identify trends, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics is essential for success in this position. This role requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to data accuracy. We emphasize a culture of Safety , and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While direct Lifting may not be a primary duty, the ability to move items and assist with physical inventory checks will be necessary. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to maintain accuracy from the start.
  • Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to optimize stock levels.
  • Champion Safety best practices within the inventory control function.
  • Ensure correct use of PPE at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with data and generate reports.
  • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with Lifting requirements for inventory handling.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
