We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee our logistics operations in Miami, Florida. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse management principles. You will be responsible for coordinating the efficient flow of goods, managing inventory levels, optimizing storage space, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This position is crucial for maintaining operational excellence and supporting our company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse coordination and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. You will lead a team, implement best practices in logistics, and ensure compliance with all Safety regulations. This is a key role with significant responsibility, offering the chance to shape our warehouse operations. We provide comprehensive PPE and enforce strict Safety standards. The role demands physical capability for tasks including significant Lifting, often in excess of 50 lbs, and requires a proactive approach to Safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement and enforce Safety procedures and company policies.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting.
- Commitment to Safety and operational efficiency.
