Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in sunny Tampa, Florida! As an integral part of our logistics and distribution team, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate order processing, directly impacting our customer experience. This fast-paced position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll work with a diverse range of products, ensuring each item is picked correctly and handled with care. We encourage teamwork and provide a supportive atmosphere for all our employees. The role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 35 lbs, and requires strict adherence to all Safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory according to order sheets or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Follow all warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks when required.
- Participate in inventory checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms or device information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive Lifting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
