Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse racking.
- Transport materials to and from various departments within the warehouse.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Valid forklift certification required.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
