Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and assemble orders accurately based on pick tickets or system prompts.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, applying appropriate labels.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification and training provided).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe workspace, adhering to all facility regulations.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Practice safe lifting techniques to prevent musculoskeletal injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures.
