We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse. Responsibilities include operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to strict safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your role is vital to our overall Logistics operations, and we are committed to providing a safe working environment with all necessary PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials and products.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient Logistics .
- Perform manual tasks including Lifting when required, in conjunction with forklift duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience (minimum 2 years).
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling best practices.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures related to forklift operation.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Capacity for occasional manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with Logistics processes is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
