You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport, load, and unload materials. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to strict **safety** regulations, and physical capability, including significant **Lifting** and maneuvering of heavy items. You will be provided with and required to wear appropriate **PPE** to ensure your **safety** while operating machinery and handling materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Perform regular **safety** inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Follow all **PPE** guidelines and **safety** procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Support overall warehouse **logistics** and operational goals.
- Involve regular **Lifting** and movement of materials up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (if applicable).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent **Lifting** and carrying up to 70 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of **PPE** and warehouse **safety** protocols.
- Understanding of **logistics** and inventory control principles.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity and coordination.
