Become a key player in our Los Angeles, California warehouse as an Order Picker! We are seeking detail-oriented and efficient individuals to accurately pick items for customer orders. This role is the backbone of our fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive exactly what they ordered in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse using pick lists or scanning devices to locate and retrieve products from shelves and storage locations. You'll be responsible for ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked, verifying them against the order details. Maintaining organization within your assigned picking zones and ensuring product integrity during the picking process are also crucial. Adherence to all warehouse safety regulations is mandatory, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the application of safe lifting techniques to handle items of various weights and sizes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong attention to detail, and can work productively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order documentation.
- Maintain organized and clean picking locations.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Practice safe lifting techniques for all items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices is a plus.
