Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler in our Seattle, Washington facility! We are searching for a physically fit and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of materials throughout our warehouse. This role is fundamental to ensuring efficient operations and timely order fulfillment. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring materials are stored correctly. A strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and experience with different types of equipment are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage locations.
  • Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
  • Stack and organize materials to maximize space and ensure stability.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Assist with inventory counts and location verification.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating material handling equipment, especially forklifts.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 70 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain equipment operation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
