Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland! This position is key to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is vital for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing best practices for stock management. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast needs, and manage stock rotation.
  • Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns efficiently.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
  • May require some lifting and movement of inventory.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
