We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of materials within our warehouse and distribution center. Your efficiency and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining smooth logistics operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Accurately record inventory movements and update tracking systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock for accessibility and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Excellent physical condition, with the ability to perform frequent lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
