We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in our Fort Worth, Texas facility. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. This position involves moving throughout the warehouse to retrieve items for orders, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining an organized work environment. Your dedication to precision and speed will directly contribute to our company's success in the fast-paced logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate handheld scanners to track inventory and confirm picked items.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
