Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to prevent obsolescence.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory locations and product integrity.
  • Champion safety initiatives and ensure compliance with PPE requirements and safe lifting practices within the inventory control area.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks as needed, including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding and adherence to workplace safety regulations, including the use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
