Our client are looking for an experienced QA QC Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out inspection and quality surveillance activities for the manufacturing, installation, and repair of pressure parts. The role focuses on ensuring all pressure boundary works are completed in accordance with project specifications, approved procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Perform inspections of boiler pressure parts including membrane walls, superheaters, economisers, headers, drums, and associated pipework. Carry out manufacturing surveillance at vendor workshops, including monitoring fabrication activities against ITPs and project requirements. Verify welding activities including fit-up, welding parameters, weld mapping, and compliance with approved WPS/PQRs. Confirm welder qualifications and ensure consumables and welding processes meet specification requirements. Witness and review NDE activities (UT, RT, MT, PT) and confirm acceptance to relevant standards. Verify material traceability including heat numbers, MTRs, and PMI requirements where applicable.
