- Up to £72,000 with a fantastic bonus/share scheme - Fully remote (1/4 visits to South Wales) An opportunity for an experienced QA leader to drive best practice, lead high-performing teams, and shape quality engineering across data-focused Agile squads. Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and line manage QA engineers, supporting career development and performance Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices across squads Provide technical leadership across test automation, ETL, and microservices testing Champion shift-left, test-first, and risk-based testing approaches Design and oversee scalable test automation frameworks and coding standards Support Agile delivery, including backlog refinement and continuous improvement Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory standards
Key Requirements
Proven experience leading QA or technical test teams within Agile environments Strong hands-on background in test automation at some stage in career Demonstrable experience delivering ETL testing solutions Mandatory experience testing microservices architectures Strong technical knowledge of Python, Java, and TypeScript
