- €55,000 + Pension An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Engineer to join a growing organisation specialising in the supply, servicing, and support of medical equipment.
This is a site-based role working within a dedicated engineering workshop supporting equipment used across healthcare environments.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a well-established provider of specialist medical technology and equipment, supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland.
They are known for delivering reliable service, technical expertise, and high standards of equipment maintenance and support.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Workshop Engineer to join their technical team based in Meath.
THE ROLE: The successful candidate will work as part of the engineering team responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair, and preparation of medical equipment within the workshop.
Key responsibilities include: Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of medical devices and healthcare equipment Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults Carrying out routine testing, calibration, and preventative maintenance Preparing equipment for deployment to healthcare facilities Recording service activity and maintaining accurate technical documentation Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with quality and compliance standards Supporting the wider engineering team with technical troubleshooting where required This role is primarily workshop-based, offering a structured environment with strong technical support and training.
THE PERSON: We are keen to speak with candidates who: Have experience working in a technical service, workshop, or maintenance engineering role Possess electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills Have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to diagnostics Are comfortable working with technical equipment and systems Have good organisational and documentation skills Experience working with medical or technical equipment would be advantageous but not essential.
THE PACKAGE: €45,000
