Maintenance Worker

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Virtuo building is currently seeking a daytime maintenance worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks in the common areas and apartments. Full-time position.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
• Cleaning and performing floor maintenance duties in the common areas
• Clear and salt the entrances
• Maintain and clean the premises
• Make service calls
• Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
• Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
