Job Title: Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Night Shift Location: Community Medical Center, Missoula, Montana Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Employment Type: Travel Assignment
Position Summary: Community Medical Center is seeking a qualified Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our laboratory team for a night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in clinical laboratory operations, and committed to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex laboratory testing across various disciplines including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology
- Analyze and interpret test results with precision and efficiency
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols
- Document and communicate results effectively to healthcare providers
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance procedures
- Support a safe and organized laboratory environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- ASCP or equivalent certification (required)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
