* Provide *hands-on orthopedic and manual therapy interventions*, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, modalities, and patient education.
* Manage a *caseload with 30-minute follow-up appointments*, ensuring each patient receives focused, high-quality care.
* Document evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with other Physical Therapists and healthcare providers to *coordinate care* and optimize patient outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on *injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies* to support long-term success.
* Participate in *continuing education* and in-service training to maintain and advance clinical skills, particularly in orthopedics and manual therapy.
* Uphold all *state and federal regulations*, ethical standards, and privacy requirements related to physical therapy practice.
* Contribute to a *positive clinic environment* by supporting team members, participating in problem-solving, and helping to maintain a clean, organized treatment space.
Required Qualifications
* *Current New York Physical Therapy License* (Required).
* Graduate of an *accredited Physical Therapy program* (Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy).
* Current *CPR certification* (or ability to obtain in a timely manner).
* Ability to work *Monday through Friday* schedule; specific hours and part-time arrangements can be discussed.
* Strong clinical reasoning and *orthopedic assessment skills* with a focus on functional outcomes.
* Excellent *communication and interpersonal skills* with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Commitment to providing *high-quality, ethical, and compassionate care*.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* *1+ year of experience* as a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient or orthopedic setting (Preferred; motivated new graduates with strong clinical affiliations are also encouraged to apply).
* Advanced skills or interest in:
* *Orthopedics*
* *Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine*
* Manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, etc.)
* Experience with or interest in:
* Post-operative rehabilitation (e.g., shoulder, knee, hip, spine)
* Sports and performance-related injuries
* Chronic pain management and return-to-function programs
* Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and efficient documentation workflows.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to *manage a steady caseload* while maintaining quality of care.
* A growth mindset with enthusiasm for *continuing education* and skill development.
