CT Technologist – Iowa City VA Health Care System

Location: Iowa City, IA | Full-time, Scheduled & On-Call

The Iowa City VA Medical Center is seeking CT Technologists (ARRT-certified) to provide onsite diagnostic imaging services. This role supports Veteran care through high-quality CT imaging, adhering to all VA protocols, infection control standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging for patients according to physician orders and VA protocols

• Operate and maintain CT equipment independently and efficiently

• Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging technique

• Participate in on-call rotations as needed

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

• Comply with infection control and safety standards, including vaccinations and TB testing

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT CT certification

• Current BLS certification

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

• Technical proficiency and ability to communicate fluently in English

• Compliance with VA credentialing, mandatory training, and immunization requirements

Contract Details:

• Base: 6 months with four optional 6-month extensions

COMPENSATION: $29.00 per hour
