Seeking enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our bustling warehouse in Kansas City, Missouri! This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific items using RF scanners, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to locate and retrieve products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked goods to packing stations or designated staging areas.
- Replenish inventory in picking locations as directed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned picking zones.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and wear required PPE at all times.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
- Participate in periodic inventory cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Capacity for consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail to guarantee order accuracy.
- Good reading comprehension for interpreting orders and labels.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to new procedures.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
