As a Software Engineer on the
Foundations, Settlements, and Transfers team , you will be integral to Coinbase's financial framework, ensuring the secure and seamless transfer of funds. This team oversees transactions involving fiat currencies, cryptocurrencies, and internal ledgers, as well as clients' assets. You will take charge of the technical direction and mentor fellow engineers, playing a key role in designing and scaling our next-generation financial systems. Your Responsibilities: Design and implement innovative financing products and features. Develop reporting tools, monitoring frameworks, and APIs. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate vision into actionable outcomes each quarter. Enhance developer efficiency and operational excellence. Support operations and collaborate with other engineering teams. What We Look For: A minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience. A proven track record in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with a strong understanding of service-oriented architecture. A commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs. A deep passion for creating an open financial system that connects the world. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift. A history of building financial systems known for their reliability and security. Familiarity with blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Job #: P75989 Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $152,405 to $179,300 USD.
