7701 Legacy Drive, Plano, Texas 75024 Responsibilities Be a key contributor to the vision of creating cutting-edge digital products and applications across vital business areas. Build strong collaborative relationships with teams in User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Process Engineering. Develop a strategic software development plan that aligns with industry best practices. Design and implement a robust development roadmap that meets business and strategic goals. Lead and inspire high-performance teams while effectively using remote collaboration tools. Mentor a team of engineers, encouraging professional growth and skill enhancement. Engage with executives to communicate the value and vision of software engineering initiatives. Advance the capabilities of digital products and applications through a service-driven digital solutions platform, utilizing data and AI for tailored experiences. Identify, escalate, and troubleshoot challenges, risks, and changes related to engineering projects. Collaborate with business partners to propose customized solutions that align with strategic objectives. Ensure prompt resolution of production issues to enhance overall service reliability and system performance. Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo office in Plano, TX. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Software Development or Engineering Management, OR a Master's Degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in the same fields with at least five (5) years of experience. At least seven (7) years of experience (or 5 with Master's) in: Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java and JavaScript. Experience in building APIs and microservices. Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React-Redux, or similar front-end frameworks. Effective collaboration with regional and global teams across various functions. Architecting, deploying, integrating, and configuring cloud services for improved scalability, performance, and reliability. Upholding high code quality through functional testing, unit testing, and peer reviews. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and PaaS/SaaS solutions. Salary:
