JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data processes and solutions that facilitate data/text mining, analysis, modeling, and predictive analytics to drive informed business decisions. You will gain insights into key business challenges by applying statistical analysis techniques to structured and unstructured data across various sources. Your collaboration with multiple departments and customers will be essential in defining requirements and addressing business problems. Using advanced mathematical, statistical, querying, and reporting methods, you will develop innovative solutions and tools, including algorithms, dashboards, and queries that enhance business performance. Your work will transition from concept development to fully tested production, ensuring results are communicated effectively to diverse audiences. Stay at the forefront of current and emerging technologies. The team concentrates on supporting payment integrity and billing, focusing on developing and maintaining payment integrity concepts. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES You will manage data compilation, data management, data analysis, and reporting with minimal supervision.
Extract and compile large data sets from various systems and applications.
Establish processes for monitoring, tracking, and trending data using different systems or applications.
Prepare well-organized, easily understood reports, analyses, and summaries for management use.
Assist in creating regular reports to support executive decision-making.
Research and analyze report results to identify opportunities and trends.
Collaborate with internal, external, and enterprise stakeholders to research, develop, and document new standard reports or processes.
Consolidate data from multiple sources using industry-standard tools or manually; effectively process data using Microsoft Excel.
Support management and team members in all data-related tasks as required.
Demonstrate advanced SQL skills, along with experience in MS Azure Databricks.
Possess expertise in data management, data extraction, and code manipulation.
Have experience in reporting tools, particularly PowerBI.
Healthcare experience focusing on claims data is essential.
Experience in building notebooks and proficiency in Python is highly preferred.
Familiarity with QNXT and Facets application databases is a plus.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Required Education Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience 3-5 years. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience 5-7 years.
