We are seeking an Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed directly contribute to our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position involves active work in a warehouse environment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. Safety is our top priority, and all team members must adhere to strict Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Join a team dedicated to excellence in distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners to efficiently locate products and record picks.
- Verify product numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, keeping aisles clear.
- Follow all warehouse Safety protocols, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as directed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Report any discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute positively to the overall performance of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is a strong advantage.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual Lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be willing to wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
