Job Summary:
We are recruiting a dedicated Distribution Center Associate for our state-of-the-art facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics network, involving a wide range of warehouse activities. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will handle tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods.
  • Stock and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent data entry and stock counts.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Follow best practices for lifting and material handling to ensure safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
  • Ability to operate various warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 60 lbs regularly.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safe lifting and material handling techniques is essential.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Must be available for flexible scheduling, including potential overtime and weekends.
