We are looking for a proficient Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will expertly maneuver a reach truck to store and retrieve products from high-level racking systems, playing a vital part in our logistics and inventory management processes. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to operate equipment with the utmost care, adhering to all safety guidelines and utilizing appropriate PPE. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent spatial reasoning, and the physical ability to handle the demands of a busy warehouse environment, including regular lifting. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of safe and efficient reach truck operation and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to access and move inventory stored at elevated heights.
- Accurately pick and place products within racking systems.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on reach trucks.
- Ensure safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage.
- Support the logistics team in achieving operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified and experienced Reach Truck Operator.
- Proven ability to operate reach trucks safely and efficiently in a high-density racking environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks and material handling duties.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
