Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Accurately count and verify picked items against order details to prevent errors.
- Safely operate manual equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Package selected items appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or potential safety hazards to supervisors.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management processes such as cycle counts.
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance picking skills and product knowledge.
- Perform duties requiring substantial lifting and physical endurance throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Capability to interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Fundamental arithmetic skills for quantity verification.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse tools and safe handling practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be capable of standing for long durations and performing repetitive physical tasks.
- A strong dedication to safety is a must in our logistics operations.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime during peak seasons.
