Institutional Staking Engineering team
builds and maintains the critical systems that manage billions of dollars of staked digital assets across various blockchain networks. Staking enhances the custody experience by enabling customers to earn yields on their digital assets. This team also secures blockchain networks by activating significant amounts of assets for staking, preventing funds from remaining idle and thereby contributing to network security and validator decentralization. Your Role: Develop new services to address essential product and business needs using Golang.
Design scalable systems to tackle unique challenges with modern cloud solutions and industry best practices.
Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and enhancing our backend systems and their supporting teams.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leaders to transform our product and technical vision into actionable quarterly roadmaps.
Write high-quality, well-tested code tailored to customer needs.
What We Seek in You: A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
Proven experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with a strong grasp of service-oriented architecture.
Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code focused on customer needs.
A passion for constructing an open financial system that unites the globe.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience navigating rapid company growth (from startup to mid-size).
Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
Experience with blockchain technologies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Expertise in breaking down a monolith into microservices.
Proficiency with technologies including Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
Experience building financial, high-reliability, or security-focused systems.
Knowledge of crypto-related activities, including interactions with Ethereum addresses, use of ENS, and participation with dApps or blockchain services.
