Focuses on technological solution delivery by guiding and inspiring strong coding practices and solid software design decisions among their team. Responsible for growing and mentoring engineers as it relates to technical skills and career development. Assists with cross-team strategic efforts, influencing decisions to achieve efficient delivery of business value. Understands cross-team technical roadmaps, advocating new product abilities based on technical strategy and constraints. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Six to eight years of relevant technical experience Five or more years of leading a software engineering team Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience leading and developing engineering teams while partnering cross-functionally with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations. Own technical roadmap and delivery for scalable, distributed systems built on Java/Spring Boot and microservices. Guide teams building and operating data pipelines using ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Pentaho, Apache Hop). Drive end-to-end system design, aligning frontend (Node.js, React) and backend teams around clean REST API integration. Lead design of event-driven, high-throughput architectures using technologies such as Kafka. Oversee delivery of cloud-native platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio). Champion engineering excellence and predictable delivery through CI/CD, DevOps practices, and strong stakeholder alignment. Promote security-first and modern development practices, including cryptographic services, certificates, and GenAI-assisted development (e.g., GitHub Copilot); GraphQL is a plus. Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00
