Job Description Summary
Lamb Weston is looking for an experienced IT DevOps and Automation Engineer who knows and understands the business value of Enterprise IT Automation. The right candidate will identify and build automations that streamline and optimize Enterprise IT operations with peers and partners. The successful candidate will develop and drive Lamb Weston's capabilities in Enterprise IT Automation - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps. The Enterprise IT Automation Engineer must be skilled in a variety of programming and scripting languages, aware and familiar with AWS and Azure Cloud Services and well versed in modern software development patterns and practices.
Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders, peers and partners to define and manage Lamb Weston Standards, Patterns and Practices for Enterprise IT Automation - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps.
Work with stakeholders, peers and partners to implement right-sized tooling for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automations and for CI/CD pipelines: Governance, Controls, Repositories, Artifacts, Processes, Software
Champion Enterprise IT Automation in the broader Lamb Weston developer community.
Build and maintain Enterprise IT Automations that deliver business outcomes and follow Lamb Weston Standards, Patterns and Practices.
Partner with peers like Architects, Operations, Principles, Analysts and Managers, to define, design, develop and deploy Enterprise IT Automations that follow Lamb Weston Standards, Patterns and Practices.
Manage and report on Enterprise IT Automation Effectiveness, Quality and Resiliency.
Drive Continuous Improvement of Enterprise IT Automation capabilities.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of experience in delivering and supporting Enterprise IT Automations via DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
Solid experience with Python, Javascript and Powershell.
Experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, EKS, ECR, API Gateway, Etc.
Experience with building self help dashboards to trigger underlying automation
Demonstrated Experience with Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager, etc. for automation of hyper-edge, edge, and cloud hardware / software / services lifecycle management.
Experience with Containers and related tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience analyzing and interpreting complex models from numerous sources, synthesizing reports and viewpoints, and dealing with challenges creatively.
Strong experience in successful DevOps Automation teams is preferred
Exceptional organizational skills working in a high-volume, high-demand professional environment, prioritizing competing demands while achieving results with a customer focused approach.
Must be able to travel up to 25%.

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $98,770.00 - $148,160.00
