Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in the search for an IT Operations Lead to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive application monitoring systems to track and analyze key performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze application crashes, performance bottlenecks, and system failures to identify root causes and develop effective solutions Work closely with development teams to implement corrective actions and ensure long-term application stability Evaluate application capacity requirements to handle expected traffic surges and proactively prevent performance issues Lead the response to critical application incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues Identify and implement performance improvements to applications, including code optimization, database tuning, and caching strategies Lead and mentor a team of engineers while providing technical guidance Prepare and deliver detailed reports on application stability metrics, highlighting trends and communicating potential risks to stakeholders REQUIREMENTS:

10+ years of experience in IT operations and Application operations 5+ years of experience in a lead role Experience in IT operational frameworks, methodologies, and best practices such as ITIL, COBIT, DevOps, Agile Proficiency with IT operational tools, technologies, and solutions including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, monitoring and automation Strong knowledge of software architecture, application development methodologies, and relevant programming languages Experience utilizing application performance monitoring tools Experience investigating and resolving complex technical issues within defined SLAs PREFERRED SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree PMP, ITIL, or related certifications
