Data Analyst / Power BI Developer
to support our client, a leading cloud and software provider, in building impactful data visualization and reporting solutions. This
remote
role offers the opportunity to design and develop Power BI dashboards, work with Azure DevOps (ADO) and enterprise data sources, and transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
Power BI (3-5 years):
Design and develop dynamic dashboards, data models, and visualizations that transform complex datasets into actionable insights. Azure DevOps (ADO) (3-5 years):
Manage dashboard backend, work with ADO data sources, handle tickets, and maintain reporting systems. Database & ETL Experience (3-5 years):
Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines pulling from multiple sources including Excel and cross-org databases. Power Platform (Power Apps, SharePoint):
Leverage Microsoft ecosystem tools to support data workflows and enhance reporting solutions.
Opportunity Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to join a data and analytics innovator where you will play a key role in transforming manual processes into automated, real-time dashboards. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver insights that directly influence decision-making while building strong business acumen within Azure-focused environments.
How you will make an impact: • Design and build Power BI dashboards that integrate data from Azure DevOps, Excel, and enterprise databases • Maintain and enhance existing dashboard backends within ADO, including bug fixes and performance improvements • Partner with business and technical teams to define data requirements and reporting strategies • Develop and optimize ETL processes to support scalable data pipelines • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable visual insights for stakeholders • Write and maintain database structures and data models to support reporting needs • Test, troubleshoot, and refine data solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability • Participate in ADO ticket workflows and collaborate in cross-functional meetings
The expertise you bring: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, or database development • Strong experience with Power BI and dashboard development • Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) for data sourcing and workflow management • Solid understanding of database technologies and ETL processes • Experience with at least one scripting language • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
