The SNY Internship Program offers a rewarding experience filled with infinite opportunities for growth both personally and professionally. We're excited to invite driven students eager to learn to apply for Summer Internship Program positions and to join the SNY team.
All internship positions are onsite. Our student internships offer a competitive hourly rate of $17.00, requiring a minimum commitment of 21 hours weekly. Our summer internship program runs from: May through August. Eligibility Requirements: Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution throughout the internship. Current class standing of rising junior or above. Applicants should demonstrate relevant competencies and capabilities aligned with the role. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by SNY.

Information Technology Interns will have the opportunity to work with the IT Department and gain experience with the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure. Interns will learn some of the preparations of building a corporate network from the ground up, learn corporate IT security policies and procedures, and learn skills to provide excellent customer service using technology.
Responsibilities
Strong interest in the media and/or technology industry Commitment to building an inclusive work environment Ability to multitask and highly organized Excellent verbal and written communication Previous internship experience or on-campus leadership/projects a plus Experience writing high-level training documentation Desired Competencies
Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional phone manner and in-person presence Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 programs including OneDrive, SharePoint, with advanced knowledge of Outlook Experience taking detailed notes and extracting action items Qualifications
Demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response Superior organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions Desired Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineer, Project Management, Systems Administration, Engineering, Projects, Production Operations Ability to handle user support in a live "on-air" environment Able to commit
