Our client is seeking a
Desktop Support Technician
to provide white glove IT support within an enterprise financial services environment. This individual will serve as one of only two onsite support resources during
weekend hours , requiring strong technical expertise, professionalism, and exceptional customer service skills. Prior financial services experience and the ability to work independently in a high-touch setting are critical for success in this role. This is an onsite position based in New York City, NY.
Starting at $30/hr.
Desktop Support Technician's
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide white glove desktop and help desk support to end users in an enterprise financial services environment Serve as one of two onsite IT support resources on Saturdays and Sundays Deliver phone, remote, and onsite support for hardware, software, and end-user technology issues Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, and LANDesk Accurately document, track, and manage incidents and requests using the ServiceNow ticketing system Desktop Support Technician's Qualifications and Skills
At least 5 years of professional IT Support or Desktop Support experience in enterprise environments Prior financial services experience is required Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills with a white glove support mindset Hands-on experience using the ServiceNow ticketing system Solid technical knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, and LANDesk Proven technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and confidently during weekend shifts with limited onsite support
