Hardware System Integrator Job Description: Location:
St Joseph, MI (Day-1 Onsite) What You'll Be Doing: Complete project development activities on time while adhering to cost, quality, and performance targets to support project execution. Manage system level design, cost, quality, and timeline trade-offs, making technical decisions for effective issue resolution within project guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems, software, and hardware components, ensuring compatibility and reliability, particularly in the appliances industry. Design and implement comprehensive testing protocols to verify the functionality of integrated systems and address any inconsistencies. Continuously assess and optimize system integration processes to enhance efficiency, reduce expenses, and improve product quality. Maintain thorough documentation of system integration processes, configurations, testing results, and create user guidelines for operating and troubleshooting systems. Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to grasp project requirements and objectives and contribute to the design and integration of new features and technologies. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex integration issues promptly to minimize downtime by developing and implementing effective solutions. Conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure integrated systems meet high standards of quality and performance. Drive the closure of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) action plans based on validation data and functional performance outcomes. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. 7-15 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 5 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience. Ability to work effectively across functions and globally. Strong experience in system design and integration. Critical systems thinker with proven system integration capabilities. Robust electrical engineering background with knowledge in EMC Theory and Practice and Electrical Stack-up. Exceptional problem-solving skills with OPEX certification.
