Senior Client Systems Administrator
to join our IT team. This role is responsible for the comprehensive support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our organization's computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal and reliable operation.The administrator will be responsible for installing and configuring software, managing hardware, maintaining network file systems, performing regular security monitoring, and providing high-quality technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will manage user accounts and permissions, develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans, and ensure all IT infrastructure adheres to organizational policies and security standards.This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to support a dynamic and technology-driven environment
Responsibilities:
Manages the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all client-side hardware and software, ensuring systems are up-to-date and operating efficiently to support business needs. Provides expert technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, effectively resolving system, network, and application issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Administers user accounts, system permissions, and network security protocols, conducting regular audits to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of company data. Develops and maintains system backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failure. Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
4+ years of experience with a bachelors' degree or 6+ years of experience with an associate's degree
Certifications:
Required: CompTIA Security+ and Network+ Highly Desired: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility is required to support mission-critical operations.
Travel Requirements
Up to twice per quarter (CONUS, HI, and AK locations possible).
Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements.
